murmade
Last weekend, I wandered into a pet store to buy cat food..... and as usual I had a peek at the fish, passing by all the trade in Jack Dempseys, etc. etc. I spotted something behind a plant, It was an Ampilophus Robertsoni( or Astatheros Robertsoni). I've been looking at these on-line for a month or so now, waiting for the next Rapps group order, and Voila!!!!!! one sitting right in front of me in calgary, at a chain pet store, unbelievable. It seems strange that someone would have a bit of a rarity like that, and dump it at a chain.... but whatever, mine now....Whooooooo! Here's a bad cell phone pic. Can't find my Cam. firestorm
Thats why you cant always overlook the chain stores I always wander through petsmarts fish when I get crickets just to see what they have, and I have gotten some nice fish from there before. He is a nice looking one, and is pretty young I assume (as I know nothing about that species lol)
