NomiDemekin
I was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about what happened to the Canadian Goldfish Society? I remember coming across it quite a while ago, but it has since vanished into thin air. And the development of the Canakin seemed quite exciting too. tedster
The site administrator was also the same person who ran Goldfish Paradise. Needless to say, he got out of keeping goldfish and now both sites are down. You can try Goldfish Keepers at http://www.goldfishkeepers.com/ There are members from all over the world. Unfortunately, we don't have a 'real' goldfish society in Canada. As for the Canakin project, unfortunately I'm probably the only person that is still working on it. I have already produced a few fish with a maple leaf like tail. I just need to permanently 'fix' the tail. Cheers! NomiDemekin
Well that's too bad. It's awesome to hear that somebody is still working on the canakin! What strain of goldfish are you working from? Do you have any pictures of the tail type you've gotten?
