Jayba Posted March 13, 2010 Report Share Posted March 13, 2010 (edited) So earlier today I witnessed 2 of my female German Red's fighting, lip locked kind of fighting! There is a 3.5"male, and the other sub dom male is 2.5 as well as the two 2.5"females. Tonight the sub male and a female of similar size were lip locked! But not in a sexy way! They are in a 125gallon tank with 14 other fish and have always gotten along...Do I have a sub sub dominant males on my hands? Or one tough little lady? I realize the tank is a bit understocked at the moment but I have been trying to get a disease outbreak under control. She shows no signs of being a male. My 2 males are clearly males.
