aquatica
The Aquarium Club of Edmonton is currently looking for a few schools to participate in or Aquariums for Schools Program starting September.Thought this might be a good place to spread the word. “Aquariums for Schools” is a program developed by the Aquarium Club of Edmonton to bring awareness of the aquarium hobby to the younger population. The premise of the program is to provide grade 5 classrooms with a complete aquarium setup for the students to not only learn about aquariums, but to also gain a greater appreciation for the ecosystems that surround us. The program is completely free to the schools that choose to participate and, in addition, the Aquarium Club of Edmonton provides a liaison to each school to assist with problems or questions that may arise. If you are aware of any school that may be interested in placing an aquarium in their grade 5 classroom, please contact Rudy Kern Aquarium Club of Edmonton (780) 438-7911 or just drop me a line at rkern@telusplanet.net or PM me
