Jimmer107
Just wondering, are the lead plant anchors that are on bunch plants when you buy them toxic to fish if left on to anchor plants? I've been using them, but started wondering about that after I read something about lead in water.
arixonbarnes
Lead is pretty much inert and we have been using it in the aquarium trade since well before the 1950's. I believe it was Henry (at D.A.D.'s) who put a large quantity of lead into a tank for about a year and saw no ill effects from it. Even salt water has no effect on it (as evidenced by all those cannonballs they find in the shipwrecks).
