Crystal Posted November 2, 2012 Report Share Posted November 2, 2012 Well, I got 2 bags of neon rice fish at the auction. Anyone have any experience in breeding them? I know the females hold the clumps of eggs on their anal fin for several hours and they drop or rub them off after that. I have already seen at least one female with an egg clump. I assume a spawning mop? Do the eggs stick to the mops or are they non-adhesive? The internet has widely varying info on time for eggs to hatch - 15 days to 6 weeks.
