Blue Ram
I'm considering adding some altum angelfish (Peru or True Columbian) to my 90 gal tank. This tank is only housing some bleeding heart tetras and cories at the moment. Just wanted to hear some members feedback on their experiences with them so if you have any information or experiences to share, please post. Thanks,
trafford_66
I have 6 beautiful "Peru Altums". They are gigantic and amazing to watch! I have them in "" because they are not true altums. Peru Altums are scalare (Which means they are easier to keep...Orinoco Altums are very sensitive from what I've read) that originate from the Rio Nanay in Peru. They do look a lot like true Altums, but you can see the biggest difference in the mouths, in the colouring, and in the size. I really do love my peru altums, but one day I would really like to do a true Wild Altum tank.
