Golfnut
Hi there, I got a bunch of SA cichlids available to me, of which there are some parrot cichlids. They are genetically engineered are they not? Or not natural is a better way to describe it. How much do you think I should pay for med-large ones? $20 $10 $5?? Thanks, Andrew Edited December 24, 2005 by Golfnut
Hemi
there are 2 types of fish sold as Parrots one is the true parrot (Hoplarchus psitticus ) and the other is the genetic misfit the bloody parrot. The true parrot is a beautiful species that can get quite large 14-18inches and is found in a couple of colour morphs, an emerald green and a brown. If the fish offered are the true parrot $20 would seem cheap as I have never seen them offered for sale.
