Smokey
I have worked with the material. It is very unforgiving, in the sence of accuracy. The edges must be flawless, so the "glues" can work best. Other than that I like the material. Easy to drill. I might suggest contacting a local fabricater, one who uses the material commerically, and check into the availablity and cost of the material and glue. They can be pricey. Smokey P.S. - MPE - after going through the process of building with acrylic's, lexan, plexiglass and comparing the total involved cost's ... I still, overall, prefer glass. Just my Loonies worth.
