SandyD
I bought two zebra snails from Riverfront last 2 for 1 sale. Today when I checked my tank there were little white spot (eggs??) in my driftwood a few here and a few there just scattered around in no particular order. The white spots or eggs all are the same size and kind of oval shaped. Do these snails breed in captivity? Thans, Sandy
Toirtis
Yes, they can, but require brackish water to hatch andraise the young.
Mighty Prawn
And even in those conditions, I've read of little success. Actually, I've never read of success at all, but both Toirtis and another friend of mine have said they have, both sources which I trust! -Hideo
