windeindoiel Posted April 26, 2006 Report Share Posted April 26, 2006 So I bought one of these guys from Petsmart on Sunday and since then it just hides. Eventually with some exploring I discovered it's hiding place under a rock, where I'm sure it's not getting any food. So today I chased it out and now it's kind of under a little bridge made by another rock with its head and tail sticking out opposite ends. It doesn't have it's fans extended though, they're just folded up under it's body. I've had these guys before and they always had their fans out and ate all day, and stayed out in the open where there was good current. I think those ones starved to death by the way, I bought liquid fry food to feed this one and have a glass that I'm hoping to grow green water in out. Hopefully this one will have enough food, it'd be nice if he ate it though. Anyways any suggestions on what to do or explanations for the behavior?
