a1foxes
I found keeping my fw tanks at 82.5 with a dash of aquarium salt cured my ich ills incredibly fast. I use salt on a regular basis, most tanks I keep are at 80-86 depending on whats in them. Temp wise ich dies at 90, but salt isnt enough to get rid of it entirely on its own. Thats why I nuke my tanks to 90, salt and coppersafe at the same time, for at least 2 ich cycles, just to make sure its gone. Also means its easier to determine sources.... Michael Roth
I'm sorry, it has been so long since I was a FW guy, it is *86.5* the tanks were kept at. This was my bible when I was battling ich, and after implementing the advice within, never had it come back: http://www.skepticalaquarist.com/docs/health/ich.shtml Which you probably already read :P
