If you are able to axcess the joists, You can nail then together with a 2"x6" every couple of feet.
That will strengthen up the floor quite conciderably, and will probably get rid of any squeeks you have in the flooring.

No i believe Chris had the Gymnogeophagus labiatus.
-
No it's not a paratilapia. "large spot or small spot"
I'am puzzled what is it? *P.M. please*

I just picked up a large female midas that was in a 90g with a whole crap load of convicts.
So anything is possible.
Though there was quite afew hiding spots for them.

If you want personality i would agree with Quinn...go with the Trimac.
Quinn: What size are the Haits? and how much are they?
-
All would be fine.
Though a 6' tank would be alot better for them.
Do you have a line on where to get the Haitiensis, Bifa, or the Trimac?
-
I'll go onto the old site later today and see if i can find a Pic of the 4500g tank, and post it here.
-
I have a 270g, BlackWolfe has a 400g, who knows what Rudy has??? and if i remember correctly PacuLady has a a 4500g tank.

Can you give us some examples?
-
I would boil them after you wash the junk off of them.
Just to make sure to kill any bad things that may be clinging on them.

Also we are temporarily allowing auctions to take place in the buy and sell forums.
All the proceeds are to go us and we will make the contribution the Canadian Liver Foundation in Jasons name.
I will be posting the peoples name who contributed and how much they brought in for Jason.
Just so everyone can keep track for themselves.
If there are anymore question please P.M. me or any other Admin and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Due to the recent passing of a beloved member of our forum at the young age of 28.
We are asking for donations to be sent to the Canadian Liver Foundation in the name of Jason Welke.
The website can be axcessed here. http://www.liver.ca/
Thankyou, and take care,
AA staff.

Maybe you could just make a subforum in the livestock buy/sell? Like we have the sponsor page in general aquarium discussion.
That is exactly what i don't want.
-
In theory this is a great idea, but practically i think it would clutter the "Buy & Sell" forum...also i think it would make it less convenient to browse as well as manage.
However if you can show me a invision site that has this type of spit topic, i will have a look at it to see if it is feasible.
We do welcome all positive sugestions.
So thankyou for your input, it is much appreciated.

No problem.
I have had tons of Eheim classics over the years and they are absolutely fantastic, once you find the best way to prime it.

Thanks Nick, i must have been asleep at the wheel there.

It's 8' x 3' x 30" high. I have about 75 fish in my other tanks but I will probably throw my 4 Black arowanas in it and my breeding oscars, uarus and yellow jackets. I also have cuban cichlids and some Dovii that might go in . But then again I might just put some stingrays in the tank with the aros. The only thing for sure is the aros.
How much was it, and where from?
-
Wow.
How's the Gibby holding up against him? Do they get along?
-
Hey...what's in the tank with him?
-
The Kijiji AD is for a Male jaguar cichlid.
-
I would imagine the BN pleco wouldn't last long with those companions...Especialy the Red Tail.
How large is the Red Tail now?

Some of us don't get home from work untill late at night, and we can't just log on to a PC in the middle of a constuction site.
As soon as i had time i sent you a P.M.

120gal looking for ideas
in S/A & C/A cichlids.
Posted
If you want South Americans....look into Satanoperca leucosticta, if you want larger more docile chichlids.
They are often sold as Geophagus jurupari which are very similar.
If size doesn't matter do some research on any of the Gymnogeophagus family.
I had some Gymnogeophagus rhabdotus back in the day and i loved them.
They were very colorful and had some quite abit of spunk for a mid to small S/A cichlid.
Good luck.
