Your water problem in the lid is due to the o-rings on your quick disconnect. I had the same problem, changed the rings and all was good.
http://rena-aquatics-outlet.planetrena.com...tlet-Parts.html
Scroll down to the quick disconnect o-rings description and it will explain it there.
I'll need to hit another LFS for parts, the one I went to did not have the parts I waslooking for.
There has been water in the lid from day one, but could that contribute to the current air issue?
Come to think of it I had a Rena do the same thing, but I took the valve body to Canadian Tire and got O-rings from the autoparts section. And yes it could draw air through the intake side as well.

Reduce the hours of light to start with. If it continues then you may have issues with high nutrients in the water.

I found that the o-ring that goes between the top and the canister on 1 of my XP3 filters was broken and it would suck in a little of air causing it to spit out air every so often. Also when you prime your filters you need to make sure there is no water in the discharge hose or it will not let out all of the air from the canister.

I signed up yesterday and I still can view the trade board, not seeming very user friendly so far
This was set up to discourage people from joining if they are here strictly to dump their wares and never be seen again. This forum is not for that kind of use, there are sites like Kijiji or Craigslist for that.
You have to contribute to other parts of the board before you can view the buy and sell.

If you raise a dozen or so I'm sure you would be able to sell them, it is when you flood the market with hundreds that they become difficult to move.
I personaly would probably take 4 of them around the 2" to 3" size.

You have to contribute to the forum via post form before you can view the buy and sell. I believe it says that right in the t.o.s. when you sign up.
ok i^m not that bright, when it says u have to contribute to the forum, what does that mean really, that u have to post something to buy or sell first before u can view this part? or just post something somewhere?
You have to post in other forums, not the buy/sell. For example post in the "say hello" forum and introduce yourself or post any questions you may have in other forums, or if your able to, answer some questions.
ok i^ve done that, just by posting in here & i^ve also posted in the c02 planted tank section, but still cann^t open up this section, unless i^m completely daft & there isn^t anything that anyones selling right now. looking for a larger tank perferrably 120-180 gallon size.
you have to post a minimum of five posts. Did you not read the Terms of Service (t.o.s.) before you signed up?

I am seeing a lot of aggression and negativity to-wards a certain member. Alberta Aquatica is for the members to enjoy and learn from each other. It is not for harassing and flaming members because they're business has a controversial reputation. As I have stated in other posts this is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. There will be no more warnings on this subject, I will simply ban you from the site. I hope we have a clear understanding of this now.
Note I am saying this twice so that you will know that I am serious:

Big Al's in Edmonton has them behind the front counter on the wall. Try the Calgary Big Al's they may have them as well.

I think either you are using the wrong link from photobucket, or it is your pc. Are using the Direct link and copy pasting it to the insert image window? I just posted this to try it.

It would help if I could post in my sub-foum.
I'm receiving the following error when attempting to start a new topic.
The error returned was:
Sorry, you do not have permission to start a topic in this forum
Try it now, if it doesn't work pm Tanker.

If you go to the members search, on the second line of search options you will see a drop down window that says by member name. Click on that and change it to Join date and then hit search, it will give you the members in the order that they joined. After that if you view their profile it will tell when they were last active. If you click on view posts it will show you their posts in descending order. If you want to see their member you have to open one of their posts. It's a long process, but the only way I can figure it out.
Hope this helps.
