Hello all, The second tank I've planted with Andy's plants is a 20 gallon tank that I keep in a university biology teaching lab. The old tank was really amazingly scummy and I wish I'd taken photos before I cleaned it. It's changed so much that many of my students have become interested in keeping fish and we spend quite a lot of time chatting about fish in general. This tank has the same plants as the fist tank but in addition to guppies there are a pair of kribs, a pleco and a couple of danios. Thanks again to Andy Neil

Hello all, I was recently given a number of fantastic plants by a very generous guy (thanks Andy). I've used these to plant two of my small tanks. The first is a 10 gallon communty tank that keeps me company in my office and is a great tool for procrastination. I have 6 tetras, an albino bristlenose catfish adn dwarf frog and a number of guppies. All the plants are real and include the following: Hemianthus micranthemoides Vallisneria americana var. biwaensis Micranthemum umbrosum Rotala rotundifolia (2 varieties - one may be indica - you'll notice the difference once it starts growing in, one is finer leaved and greener, the other longer and red) Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' Hygrophila corymbosa ''Stricta'' Info on the next tank is in the next message.
