Thanks! I called Gold's and am going to get back to him after I find out if the rays are going to a home. I am not quite ready to give anything away for nothing yet. Too much money and energy has gone into these little buggers. :smokey:

Does anyone know if the LFS stores will take my Arowana and Red Parrot? And possibly the rays if they don't find a home REALLY soon here? Do they give any sort of credit if they do take them?

Thanks everyone. I Primed and Stability-ed until my little heart's content :-) Managed to get the other filter to run well enough to pull the bigger one off and clean it. HUGE POOP was clogging both of them....cool rays and aro, GRODY POOs, man LOLOLOLOLOL Everything's good now. MAjor panic for me. I always thought "it'll never happen to me" LOLOL

I think I'm selling the rays tonight....Next question is that the trip is about 7 hours all together....how do I scoop them out of the tank, and once they're in the rubbermaid container, how long will they last?

No....I still only have one of the half working filters on it until I can put the leaking one back on after the silicone sets. The waters is still a little stinky and cloudy....hopefully I can fix it before they die :-(

I use carbon in the filters and I feed them NLS wafers.

I have 2 airpumps with airstones on the tank...is that okay?

Came into the shop today to find I couldn't even see into the tank. I did a 50% water change right away, only to find BOTH Eheim filters weren't running properly, and the internal filter was unplugged. Went to clean one of the filters and found that it was leaking around the bottom fitting. Cleaned it, siliconed it, and now have to wait for the silicone to dry before I can even change the other filter...What do I do?!?!?!?!?!?! Will my rays die?!?!?!?

There is quite a bit of sunlight. I have huge windows in my shop, so I do belive that it's sunlight :-)

No hickeys from either kind? I also have an arowana. He wouldn't bother a pleco would he?

I'm starting to get some aglae in the tank.....what is a good ray-friendly cleaning crew?

UUUUMMMMMMM.....thanks for the response guys!!!! LMAO Got a little reading to do apparently. I ordered some of the NLS wafers from Nature's Corner Store. Just a small container for now to see what happens. This, along with shrimp and worms I hope will be okay. I wanna make sure I'm doing everything right. PS....first water change today............there's gotta be an easier way............UUUUGGGGHHHHH.

WOW....they are beautiful!!! I have both NLS types on hand now. They can still have worms and shrimp sometimes right? I found they LOVE their worms.
