  1. 33 gallon is going to give you more options too. And...talk to albert :> He will not steer you wrong.
  2. One of the first fish Albert sold me: My 'huma-nuka-nuka-uapa' who really does growl when he eats. And the *very* shy sailfin tang.
  3. this one is neat-o, a violet pleco.
  4. I don't know...depends on how much he gets already, really :> There are many plecos in this tank... a couple more...
  5. You can also lube the impeller magnet with either impeller lube from an lfs, or... Carmex original lip balm.
  6. He is about 4 and a half inches long... not near full grown yet, but coming along nicely :>
  7. But he is still nowhere the size of this guy...he's a good solid 7" long.
  8. Got this guy from albert about a year ago, he was so teenty, like slightly bigger than the pad of my thumb. A little more robust now :
  9. but look who was hungry enough to come out of hiding
  10. yeah... I'm afraid my first thought is deformity.
  11. Yeah, I had 25 cardinals in with my discus for a couple hours. the discus thanked me after they ate every last one.
  12. Absolutely. While they do ave big appetites, they are pretty meek fish. He eats plenty of krill, but the discus don't even seem to think he exists.
  13. this is a bit unusual for a mix eh? :>
  14. In my experience, angels have always been vicious little things that slowly kill off everything else in the tank. But I may have just had a bad experience.
  15. meh. fish die. I got over that one a LONG time ago. Esp. due to predation, ie: anemones etc. The funny thing is, I think my coral beauty harrassed the shark to death, basically. He had the sailfin tang (who LOVES the NLS by the way) pinned for two weeks and the picasso for damn near as long. Violent little fellow. I need Gill Grissom on this.
  16. Um, must be a tuesday. My shark is done too. Hrm.
  17. Holy sheepdip. Thats a new one on me. That was not a teeny lionfish.
  18. It is small...like 7 inches. Teeny little pup. Mostly it hides in the rockwork.
  19. lol, no saltwater there, :> Albert is pointing out I just got my @$$ kicked :>
  20. I got it from Ocean's. I'd love to know what turned their fortunes around...it was looking pretty bleak in there for a long time. We got Albert to snag us a couple bicolor blennies, and I was saddened to not be able to find the snowflake moray hiding in the sump...time to grow one of them out too. Did you see that wicked white coral with blue polyps? I am in so much trouble...
  21. Yeah. There goes our livingroom.
