  1. I believe those use to be mine.Glad to see they are in a good home.
  2. Didn't know where to put this so I thought I'd ask here.Since I don't seem to have a lot of time to get out can anyone tell me how many places in Edmonton sell brackish water fish.In particular scats.I know Big Al's carries them, but the ones I saw tonight were rough to say the least.
  3. Just looking for some opinions/suggestions.I have a 135 6'x 18" and my only bottom feeders are cories. How many do you think I can keep comfortable? Can and should I keep more than one species and how many of each would you suggest?I currently have 10 corydoras aeneus 6 regular/4 albino.
  4. Where is the best place to by NLS as far as price is concerned.I keep hearing too many good things and just have to try it.
  5. Nice turtle.I use to have one I found on the flight line when I was still in the service.Had to release it when I moved up here though.

  7. check this little tank building chart out.Hope it helps. http://www.garf.org/Tank/BuildTank.asp
  8. 2-3 months is cool, but if you can swing a 180 in that soon of a timeframe I'd wait.Unless of course you see a sweet looking fish that you just can't walk away from.lol
  9. I think with that fish list you should start out with the 180.You will be surprised how fast all of those fish will grow. As for tankmates, have you looked at silver dollars?
  10. Let me ask..why?How is bait shop worms less safe than worms from the street?
  11. I have a friend that will build me a tank for free.He has an almost unlimited amount of 1/4" glass.I have an area in the house that is just over 66" so I would like to do a tank that is say 60"X 18"X ??
  12. What would be the biggest aquarium I could build with 1/4" glass?Anyone have any experience with this or know of a chart or something.
  13. Does anyone know if they can be purchased up here?I am mainly asking about bullhead catfish and various sunfish(bluegill, crappie, orange, and green sunfish). If they can't be purchased is there any way to aquire some legally?
  14. Wow,that is an insame DP setup. I am sure they are lovin it.
  15. Check out this site.Lots of knowledge and info there. http://www.dwarfpuffers.com/
  16. Nice oto's. They had some of those at Big Al's a few months ago,but I just couldn't justify the price to myself.
  17. Guess I never lived there or went into any petstores or even worked at any petstores.I must have been smokin crack when I saw arowanas or scooped them out and sold them to customers. Man those petstores sitting right out in the open are sooooooo black market.
  18. Arowanas are sold in the States. Each state is different though.
  19. They look like a cool fish. How much is it going for? There is not too much info at planetcatfish on them, but a nice selection of pics. http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/auche...tromo/367_f.php
  20. Thanks for all the replies and offers, but I wasn't asking "should I cut the tank down or reseal it?" I was asking how should I cut the glass.? I appreciate those that replied concerning that.I will be taking the tank apart and cutting it thanks to your much appreciated advice.
  21. I have a 10 gallon that leaks at the top some where.Rather than reseal it I would like to cut a couple inches off the top of it and make it a 5 or 6 gallon.Anyone got pointers?Do I have to take the tank apart then cut it or can I cut it while it is intact?
  22. Score!! I picked up a couple tonite in Sherwood Park.I also saw some of the Asian species at Big Al's.Ended up paying 5.99 each. Not bad.I may go get some more some time.
  23. I'm going out tonite to look around.Maybe I will luck out. What do they usually retail for around these parts anyway?
