Your in edmonton? Have you tried phoning any of the pet stores in town? i think large ones dont take fish but you might try the smaller ones- big city hopefully there will many options...as we know betta's have to be in seperate jars- so I hope someone will help you, cuz im sure you have a whole ton of betta's good luck!

When I lived in BC most stores had a 30 day policy...but last night I bought some tetras and they were dead within an hr...very sad, well I called about there guarantee before I drove back there in this awful weather...So they said what??? I've never heard of that before...so they said to call back when a manager is there and he/she would say yes or no...well no manager of fish in today- so to call back tommorow- well for heavens sake I have a bunch of dead fish rotting away in a bag...just wondering if thats a BC thing? And im not one to buy fish from walmart- they dont last long...but sadly the fish store was closed and i just HAD to have them lol

Sadly the parts are really cheap in the US and everyone seems to sell them $5-USD $15CAD for one part and $10-USD $45-CAD for the other...and all over the place on ebay- only in the us of course and the shipping is so high that it almost equals it self out lol...60 bucks shipping to me from the usa...but I was looking around and I guess that they were quoting me on speedy shipping rate, cuz I was just looking at the american sites fedex and stuff and i found FedEx International Ground® for only 20 bucks so I guess I will going that route... oh and thats 5 days shipping to! *score* but thats so much everyone for answering so quickly

Hi im wondering if anyone knows a cheap way to have things shipped over from the US to canada...it just seems so expensive...but i know there must be other options to ship to us...other than UPS Im trying to get some replacement parts for my tank- and canada has them but for twice the cost...plus shipping thanks if anyone can help!

I have 2 dwarf gouramis, and i think one has a disease...I have never owed one before so I dont know much about them....now 1 of them is doing great no probs as of now, but the other one has a mark on its back side (either a fish took a little chunk off of him/her or he/she rubbed on a rock) But the biggest prob with the fish was this morning and it has white furry bits all over the body...kidda puffing up over the scales....Please help thanks Jackie

And for frontosas (brian) Your funny...your post is the next one down My expertise if you could call it that ...ha ha .....would be with livebearers, guppies, platys etc practice makes perfect...But its been a few yrs so it may take a bit to remember everything again I have a 3 yr old boy who just loves the tank- is so excited to feed them in the morning and just loves to sit there with the cat and watch them, do all there funny things But thanks again for all the nice welcomes

I have been loving fish for yrs now, but have been out of the loop for 3 yrs and very happy to be getting back into this again I cant wait to start breeding even tho I have no one to sell to in this town Anyways enough rambling..very happy to find an alerta site even if I'm kinda sask too lol...Yeah Border City I'm excited to start helping people with their questions...oh and on that note if anyone knows of somewhere that sells eclipse parts...may i please have the info thanks
