Your sword tail is not going to mate with a triden. However it sounds like she is ready to mate with a male sword tail. :thumbs:

Just picked up a red apple snail and a gold on Thurs. They are already half the size of my fist and are known to get as big as baseballs. Any way when my daughter woke up the next morning there were two large piles of eggs just above the waterline on the front and back of tank.

Enjoyed looking at your snail pic's. You have inspired me to share mine. I have never seen those kind of snails before. Does the mother need a mate?

Yes please keep us posted. I have some old antlers in my garage that I would like to try. You would think that if you boil them to kill any bacteria that might be present and checked your parameters regularly that it would be ok.
