  1. well then we've probably met, I went to almost every OC trial for the first year and a half here. Between travel, vacation, work and other projects I just haven't been able to fit once a month trials in again. I'm not really keen on horse arena practice though, it's always so darn dusty at the garrison arena. I'm practicing Thursday nights with PACE starting tonight.
  2. Hi there! Well, if going to the same church many many MANY years ago counts, then yes I've met her but I was probably a teenager and way before she made it big. I haven't competed in the edmonton area for agility lately because the trials haven't been on weekends convenient cor us but we were just down in the Hat for their trial. We have 2 border collies and a lab mix here!
  3. We moved up from Medicine Hat. Both of us had a great opportunity to advance in our work and just couldn't turn it down. It was meant to be when everything just fell into place, movers were available, house sold quickly and for a good price, packing went smoothly, purchased new house just before the prices skyrocketed. Love the city, so much to do here. Plus with 3 dogs I also love the offleash parks and the opportunity to compete in agility at least once a month. I don't, but I could if I wanted too Probably the only thing I don't like is the bloody construction behind our house!! Hopefully it will be done this fall!
  4. Hey all! I found all of you just surfing around. I'm currently trying to convince my partner that I really should have another saltwater aquarium and kind of pushing towards the bio-cube 29 gallon. Unfortunately, I don't have any tanks now <sniff>. We moved to Edmonton late 2005 and I used to have a 10 & 33 gallon freshwater, a 120 gallon outdoor pond and an 80 gallon saltwater FOWLR tank. But because of the move and everything going into storage for 3 weeks, I had to get rid of the tanks. The freshwater were no problem and the pond obviously stayed at the house (only to find out from my old neighbors they ripped it out) but I am seriously missing my SW tank. I spent a couple months trying to sell it, either in components or completely and ended up having to leave it with the new house owners. It darn near broke my heart. I left all my notes, equipment, everything to make sure they could care for the tank. SO I'm in SW withdrawal. I'm starting to redo all my research on the notes I had written down. I"m envisioning the small tank and trying my hand at some easy corals with only a couple small fish this time. I was also re-motivated by my trip to St Maarten and snorkeling for the very first time. WOW!!! that's all I can say! SO thanks for letting me join and I'll be hopefully contributing to the forum! Deanna
