Thanks everyone for the reply's. I went out and got all 3 the day after everyone replied. They are all doing great and I like all three of them as plants. Moose -
Thanks Froggie... I love these Neolamprologus leleupi fish... I look at your picture you posted here waaaaaay to much.. Haha. I saw some yesterday in person at Franco's in Calgary. There were 3. 1 looked really good the other 2 looked pretty dark. The two dark ones were being agressive and the one that was all yellowed up was staying higher up in the tank in a defensive posture. They also have an adult pair in a tank that weren't for sale. Has anyone else seen these around Calgary? I would love to try these guys out sometime. They seem like a pretty assertive Lake Tang fish... Moose

Guess you'll just have to start selling them by the bag full

If it is a community Tang tank I don't think the fry will last long but in an exclusively Julidochromis transcriptus tank they sometimes raise them and they can stay in the same tank similar to brichardi etc... Moose

Crinum calamistratum - I assume it is very high light / sensitive plant.. Anyone have success / experience with this plant they can share with me? Bacopa monnieri - I've had success with Bacopa in the past is this an easy variety? Do the leaves stay small? Rotala rotundifolia - Looks really nice but the plant I saw has tiny leaves. .Does it look nice with the bigger leaves? Let me know if you recommend any of the above 3 plants or if you recommend against them etc.. I was thinking of picking some of them up. I have 60 Gallon / medium lighting / planted community tank / no CO2 / All my plants that I do have are very happy.... Moose

I have brichardi dafodil fry that have a blue hue about them that makes them very very cool looking.. I assume the color will fade as they get older and go toward the traditional yellow / gold.... Good luck with the Empress Fry!
