what about calgary's hard water?

so the eggs are dry? how long can they be like that before they go bad? are they similar to brine shrimp eggs? they wont hatch until you add water?

has anyone tried getting some of these eggs off of ebay? how do they work? i would like to get some killifish. will they hatch in Calgary's hard water?

good job. how big are the fry compared to normal betta fry? all of the betta's that i got on Tuesday are doing great and have colored up nicely, the red copper dragon looks great. and the red butterfly is already building a nest in its small tank. I am cleaning the house trying to find a place to set up some more breeding tanks.

i have some small grass like plants that i am trying to hold down. so i put the grass in between two layers of aluminum mesh for screen doors. i was wondering if this is safe? i have read that stainless steel mesh is ok but i just wasn't sure about aluminum. i know that aluminum does not rust.

i have just ordered Levamisole from Charles Harrison. hopefully it gets here soon! it is strange that the pets stores do not sell this treatment. it seems like they do not sell any medication for internal parasites only internal.

no they are not mayla shrimp, those look kinda ugly. i think they are the rainbow shrimp. about how long does it take for them to breed? and once i see the eggs how long does it take before i would see baby shrimp? When i first got them one of the cherry shrimp had eggs that it was carrying. but i did not see any babies come from it. they were in with about 8 pingu guppies. but i have since moved them into a tank with a variety of fry once the fry get about 3/4 inch i remove them. i am not sure if the fry would eat the babies or not . the tank is moderately planted

i have about 5 cherry shrimp and 5 malaysian shrimp and i was wondering what an ideal setup would be for breading, is there anything you can do to trigger them to breed? and what is the best food to feed shrimp

does anyone know where i can get Levamisole HCl in calgary?

i am fairly certain that in my one tank i have camallanus worms. i have guppies, platys, cory's, angels, female betta's, albno bristle nose pleco in a 45 gallon planted tank. I have lost 5 or 6 female guppies they were old and i just added a diy co2 system and i thought that was the reason for there death, maybe stress. but now i have 5 or 6 more female guppies that i can see the worms sticking out of there vent. i have been doing some reading on this site and others and it seems that i need some Levamisole HCl. Is this the best treatment? can i get it in calgary? should i treat my other tanks at the same time? i do transfer fish between all of the tanks every now and then. all tanks have simaller fish. the other tanks show no sign of the worms. i do a 30-50% water change every week. the only thing i have done so far for treatment is added salt 1 tbsp per 5 gallon

i recently got 5 orange laser Cory's and i want to breed them i have bred bronze Cory's. i was wondering how big the orange Cory's get the ones i have are smaller than the bronze Cory's. i was wondering what size they should be before i try to breed them? they are approximately 1.5 - 1.75 inches now
