I don`t think you have the space, equipment or legalities to own a Pike. It`s illegal to own a native species here, they can be quite strict with it and you could be looking at jail time if your caught with a specimen.

I wouldnt think pleco's are designed to assimilate pasta, humans can barely do it without getting plugged up.

I had a 14" male Festae with a 10" female in my 230g, with 2 massive male Red Devils, they were fine only unless the Festae were breeding, but then everything in the tank got harassed.

Depends how big of a tank....and on the individual attitudes of the fish itself
-
DId you put too much Co2 into your tank by chance?
-
I didn't think it would but every little bit might help. If it is as i suspect(the delivery person stole it back) then they would probably try this scam again and if details can be collected then the Police might actually catch them. Also if it is possibly gang related then who knows a raid on a house or something might cause it to turn up and they would then have some idea as to who has claim to the tank and equipment. You never know and more info is usually better.

Hahahaha. The police in this town are useless, they're not gonna raid anyones house for anything, and they're definitely not going to track down a stolen fish tank. I have no use for EPS. You're better off going to your insurance company about it.

whats the old car in the corner....looks like a duster
the stand looks real nice too, good job
-
build one yourself theyre easy to build. look up cree LED's

Not worth the stress or torment to the other fish, throw the Con's in a smaller tank, or buy something that can eat them
-
Very awesome fish to own. They are quite prone to bloat but I have one from the same batch that's about 7" now.
-
They turn out to be quite nice, I have a breeding pair currently.

Nice fish Ed.
Dustin, my Dovii is king parachromis

That's a pretty nice looking fish.

Very nice fish, I also have a Bartoni as well.

My snails and pleccos LOVE THEM. The plecco is able to get it and chew on it like it would bogwood and shortly thereafter it's gone. The snails on the other hand get them durring the daytime when the plecco doesn't come out and they swarm the one pellet or two and all that you see is a huge clump of snails. I know the plecco gets his at night because i check back a few minutes later and there is no snail dog pile and no more pellet either. Wafers are good too but since my plecco is not so much a herbavore than an omnivore this pellet is a godsend.
The other thing i found is that if you need to over feed to be sure the slower fish in the tank get food then some of those slower or smaller fish seem to take the time to eat the pellets one bite at a time. If you feed at the same time the more dominant fish take a few test bites and then leave it alone. This is in my very mixed african tank.
This food really filled a small gap that the NLS brand was missing.
Thank you Neil for bringing it to my attention and bringing NLS here.
Good Luck
L
P.S. NLS is much less expensive at Natures Corner Store usually and it's only a hop skip and a jump from Big Al's
You didnt even touch this guys question. He was simply asking if his ray's would eat it, not if your pleco's and snails would.
Rays can sometimes be finicky eaters, what I would try and do is stave them for a couple days and then soak the new Mega Fish Formula is prawn juice to get them interested. There are many variables you could try, as every fish is an individual. Best of luck to you.

The platinum RTC is hands down the sweetest cat on the planet. The Platium Barramundi is sweet as well.
-
Aquarium Illusions will move it for a fee, and youll need 6 guys as the tank weighs just a tad over 900 pounds dry weight. I moved the exact sized tank last week with 7 other guys and it wasnt that bad. Communication is key.

How is the sump working so far?
-
I 100% agree with Neil. Although you could suspect an internal parasite as well.

In nature, a new body of water will naturally take about 7 years to become habitable for fish.....There, now do you feel better? :hey:
No.
I wonder how long it would take to cycle the ocean.
Depending on how cycled the rock is. It could take hundreds of years.

FYI fish don't truly school unless they are being predated on. They "shoal". Schooling is a defense mechanism against larger predators.

Find some horwort or some real bamboo, I can't think of the name for the life of me right now. I have some in my sump and it eats up nitrates no problem. Did you double test your nitrates? Sometimes it gives you a false reading. Smaller waterchanges will be easier on will be easier on the fry too.

IMO time is worth more than money and the tank. It'll be cheaper overall to scrap the tank and go to Big Al's and buy a new one.

A very badly shaped female IMO.
Heater Issues
in Equipment
Posted
One thing I DON'T mess with is an aquarium heater. If it malfunctions I replace it. It's not worth the risk of putting my fish in harms way. Ebo Jager's work pretty good too fyi
