One thing I DON'T mess with is an aquarium heater. If it malfunctions I replace it. It's not worth the risk of putting my fish in harms way. Ebo Jager's work pretty good too fyi

I don`t think you have the space, equipment or legalities to own a Pike. It`s illegal to own a native species here, they can be quite strict with it and you could be looking at jail time if your caught with a specimen.

I wouldnt think pleco's are designed to assimilate pasta, humans can barely do it without getting plugged up.

I had a 14" male Festae with a 10" female in my 230g, with 2 massive male Red Devils, they were fine only unless the Festae were breeding, but then everything in the tank got harassed.

Depends how big of a tank....and on the individual attitudes of the fish itself

Very awesome fish to own. They are quite prone to bloat but I have one from the same batch that's about 7" now.

They turn out to be quite nice, I have a breeding pair currently.

You didnt even touch this guys question. He was simply asking if his ray's would eat it, not if your pleco's and snails would. Rays can sometimes be finicky eaters, what I would try and do is stave them for a couple days and then soak the new Mega Fish Formula is prawn juice to get them interested. There are many variables you could try, as every fish is an individual. Best of luck to you.

The platinum RTC is hands down the sweetest cat on the planet. The Platium Barramundi is sweet as well.

Aquarium Illusions will move it for a fee, and youll need 6 guys as the tank weighs just a tad over 900 pounds dry weight. I moved the exact sized tank last week with 7 other guys and it wasnt that bad. Communication is key.

No. I wonder how long it would take to cycle the ocean. Depending on how cycled the rock is. It could take hundreds of years.

FYI fish don't truly school unless they are being predated on. They "shoal". Schooling is a defense mechanism against larger predators.

Find some horwort or some real bamboo, I can't think of the name for the life of me right now. I have some in my sump and it eats up nitrates no problem. Did you double test your nitrates? Sometimes it gives you a false reading. Smaller waterchanges will be easier on will be easier on the fry too.

IMO time is worth more than money and the tank. It'll be cheaper overall to scrap the tank and go to Big Al's and buy a new one.
