I still need your guys' help on this. I'm really wanting filters in drilled tanks, not over the lip filters. -

Back pressure is what I think the problem is. There is a pipe for the outtake going fairly high. So Eheim is unsuitable for the drilled tanks then? Which filters are better suited? -
Problem With Eheim(S) In A Drilled Tank(S)

It's not leaking. I was wondering if they weren't powerful enough for the height. -
Eheim 2026 Ecco pro 2236 (this is the only one I tried in the configuration I have in mind) and another that I don't have the model number for. First of all, all three Eheims work if they go over the tank lip. I am not wanting to have the filter like that though. I would like my tanks to be drilled on the bottom instead. Both the intake and the outtake are drilled. It hasn't worked for me in that configuration despite several attempts. What am I doing wrong? The water is draining, the drain into the intake isn't plugged. But water doesn't want to move up the outtake. The self priming gets the water up, but it doesn't move beyond that. Can Eheim filters work in drilled tanks? If not, which filters would work in this configuration? Thank you for your responses.

Hello, I'm mainly interested in geckos.

I work at PJs in the West Ed Mall. There are some friendly fish hobbyists there. -
Best place to find T5 light fixtures?
Lordoftheswarms replied to Lordoftheswarms's topic in Equipment
Thanks, I should have thought of that. -

No, I've never been excited about fish. I work at a decent pet store, with some fairly informed staff so it's not due to lack of exposure or good experiences. I'm just obsessed with geckos. It took me 8 years to branch into chameleons and boas. -
It will be my first meeting. I'm looking forward to it.

Hi, I am looking for T5 light fixtures, does anyone know where I would be able to get some cheap? It is for my Panther Chameleon, and the live plants I have in with him. Thanks. Adam

Hey. I'm Adam Foster. When I'm online, I go by Lordoftheswarms, if you see that on any other forum, that's me. My main interest is in geckos, with a side of chameleons, boas, and cats. I've got the following. Cat gecko African Fat Tail 5 Leopard Geckos Peacock Day Gecko Gold Dust Day Gecko Gravid Giant Day Gecko Mossy Leaftail Geckos Hog Island Boa Constrictor and a Panther Chameleon. The closest I get to being interested in aquatics, is Dart frogs, and Eurycea longicauda, which is a very gorgeous salamander. I am looking for some T5 fluorescent light fixtures, so when I get the chance, I will search the classifieds. If anyone else has any geckos or chameleons, feel free to mention so.
