Fisheye

I just added three red barbs to my community tank .Two have seemed to pair up and the other one is fine .My question the two that stay together are continually rubbing each other ,swimming in rapid circle together and normally I would accept this as for-play for breeding. However both are same coloration with no difference and I thought the female would be less colorful. Is this a matting procedure with red barbs> Color of both fish --red gold bottom with silvery back. Is this the normall pre breeeding pattern for Barbs? Thanks Fisheye

Yes I did go to the auction . Went in heaver than when I came out money wise . Had a good time and picked up a few things I can use.Plants ect.

Hi just joined your local forum which is nice to be able to exchange ideas and questions with local Albertans. I have just gotten into tropicals again after a long lay off. Everything has changed from the earlier days 70s and 80s. When I packed it up be for I was heavy in to Discus Fish . Now in just 3 weeks I have running 30,40,and two 10s,tanks . I am still not sure what to specialize in but I am interested in Killis and most dwarf fish. Thanks for listening
