Hi All, I really need some help on this one. I Have a 250 watt MH HQI pendant and water got splashed on the hot shield. Needless to say it went boom. So now I am looking for a new shield that is tempered and has a UV coating. ( I have read that the HQI bulbs do not have any UV coating). Does anyone have any idea where I can find a piece of glass 3/16 inches thick by 4 1/2 inches wide by 7 1/4 inches long? I am stumped on this one. I have no problem finding a regular piece of glass but the tempered and UV part is proving quite difficult. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi All, I have been away from the aquarium hobby for several years now and I am trying to get set back up. Currently I am looking to buy a new tank and I have noticed it is very hard to get any aquariums that don't have a black trim. I have a very nice solid oak stand that I just refinished and I was hoping to get something that matched. Here are my options so far: 1) Order tank from Big Al's and wait for 2 to 8 weeks. 2) Order a custom built tank here in Edmonton $. 3) By an aquarium with a black trim. Does anyone know of a place I can get an aquarium with an oak coloured trim? Does anyone have any ideas on what to do to a black trim to change it (veneer, etc)? Any ideas would be welcome Thanks!
