probably not the healthiest idea but my buddy used to feed his some raw ground beef or garlic sausage

when you plugged it back in did you fill it with water first because if not you might have blown the motor mine does the same thind with not too powerful of a output

nah over filtering is fine i got a fluval FX5 which is rated for 400gal on my 120gal and it keeps that water crystal clear

yeah if it can hold a tv it will hole 20gal of water easy -
