Is that the common name and is it a loach or pleco and do I need anything special to keep them healthy.

Does anyone in Calgary know wich stores soften there water just curious. Has anyone used resin bags to soften water how successful were the results what are the specific problems and how do you recharge them.My daughter freeked cause her rams died after 2 days.

In new memebers I said metal unistrut cause I use it all the time on the job but little did I know it cost about $10:00 fora 10ft length ouch guess I'm useing wood oh well .Metal would of been faster and neat.

With the 4ft length being constant what would be the other 2 dimensoins available or the max in depth and heigth planning to build a 3 tier stand for 4fts just need too plan ahead.

I got 2 in a ten gallon with 3 dwarf cichlids and 2 dwarf plecos and 2 Sterberii cory's there doing fine on NLS.

I really wanna set up a fish room in the basement but all in due time no rush . I plan to build a multi metal rack system out of unistrut and springnuts ,bolts and L brackets its cheaper faster and I can dismantle it easiy by unbolting every thing.Just need 3/4 plywood for the shelves.Probably about 10ft by 6ft high and 2ft deep so I can get too both sides potentially could hold six 4ft tanks. 2 on the top, middle and bottom just have too use tremclad rust pait after.Un fortunatley gota build my music room first been tryin for years I figure I could double my technique in a year and have a good partime second career as a musician I play sax, flute and clarinet freelance but I also play with Marina and the Jazzcats.Our basement is full of stuff we have too somehow clear out first. Finding the time too do all this at my age isnt easy ohwell.

Hi i"m an older man that works as an electrician getting back into the hobby.I had a 180 that was set up beautiful fully planted but developed a minor leak so I tore it down and setup 2 other tanks in my base ment .I need to replace the bottom plate and reseal and move it down stairs too the basement it was too big a divider our sunken livingroom/dinningroom. I love Tetras and dwarf cichlids.

Where in Calgary would be a cheap place to buy a new bottom for my 6X2X2 tank? Anyone know how much it would cost?

How do you break the seals i need too replace the bottom completely 6X1foot piece? cracked.

I got 6 Nannostomus Harrisoni for my community tank once I sell my rainbows they should be fine for a 6ft tank .Question is why do they say not to put them in a planted tank and in my community tank.There in an isolated tank for now.

I'm not in a rush but maybe you can get these dwarf cichlids.Apistogramma Borellii, Cleithracara maronii, Dicrossus filamentosus, Laetacara dorsigera and Nannacara anomala..Three of each would be nice how much? Oh yeah another inspector pleco a small one.

Is it common for males to grow slight hook bills like male salmon?

How big 4-5 inches?So do they come in rubber nose.

Do these plecos come as a rubber nose Albino which dont grow big?

Let me know when you get more of those yellow spotted plecos in im interested. They must not get bigger than 4-6 inches.

I'll have to check my list when I get home today to see what the pleco was. I just sold the last of the otos a few days ago.

I have about 24 fry that are swimming surprise don't know if they'll survive in a 6ft community tank ,mom is guarding them good though.

I'm an electrician and have seen what they pour for concrete in houses now adays 4 inches and they only use a wire mesh in the floor and rebar on the outside edges and corners Good luck if its and old house.

My tank has 2 pumps.A Ehiem 2215 and a marineland 350.For fish I have 3 Bolivian rams , 3 Appisto Euntous, 2 Nanacaras 1Panda corycat, 6 whiteclouds, 5Harlquin rasboras, 5 cherry barbs. I would like to and a bunch of COLORFUL schooling tetras, 2-4 other S.A.Rams, 2-3 other Appistos, A CHECKERBOARD CICHLID a Lime cichlid.1 Aquedians curveips?.Some odd or colorful cats , 2 small plecos.Last would be a pair of angelfish and 2 small Kribs.The tank eventually will have a 4ft by 6-12inch island of plants in the middle and 1ft of treeroots on each end lots of caves . The pumps give a small current going round the outside of the tank.This tank is in the main living room as a divider between dinning room no wall.So what do you think to much what would be good for tetras not Congos.
