When I was in Mexico recently when't snorkelling in some cenotes over grown with algae crystal clear thousands of ammeca splendins monsters up to 5 inches and some large black catfish and cichlids that looked like about 6 inch max maybe similar to blue acara but not.Anyways the splendins were feeding on nothing but the alagae from what I could see.Took some pics with my dive mask but they didn't turn out verygood still learning how to use it.

Gotta make room for my rainbows .I'm wondering if any local breeders would take these in exchange for future considerations of fry

Well looks like my corys are in fected with this not popeye just a little white milky dot.They are fat and healthy finding food no problem but I'd like to get rid of this whats the best medication ?

When I do a water change I always fill the tub with hot water and turn on the jets for half an hour and leave 24hrs then use it and I don't need prime most of the time. You should add the prime to new water first, before adding to aquarium.

Put charcoal filters on you air pumps hahahaha once your in the bowl you never notice it but your fish might.Welcome to the forum.
