    Hello All Members

Hi fguy, nice list of fish tanks you have..I love my cichlids, a real joy to watch.:welcome: :ml:
  2. Replace the Stealth with an Eheim, it's running like it should, no worries

  3. big al's has some Brevis. I was hoping to find some some shellies that had more contrast, maybe like multies, similis, stappersii or signatus. I'm not sure what their Brevis will turn out like. The contact you have do you know what the Parents look like?

  4. I am waiting for some fry from someone in Calgary. I am told that riverfront has them but I couldn't find any there. At any rate, I know this person has 3 different bloodlines in their tank so I'd rather try them. The fry won't be big enough for me to get for another month.

  5. Hi,

I read your post on Shellies, did you get any, I too am have recently become interested in them and was wondering what sort of luck you've had

  6. Hi, live in Calgary, interested in African Tanganyikans. i have a 46bow, Fluval Edge thinking about some Shell Dwellers. Other Activities include hiking, yes Fishing (catch n release) Mt. Biking, Skiing, Tropical spots

  7. Hi everyone, my name is Barry, I live in Calgary I'm new to this forum. Now that the kids have grow and I have a bit of extra time I decided to get back into some fish tanks. It's been a few years but finally got another one up and running. After a bit of research I decided on an African Tanganyikan tank, it's been up since the new year...8 weeks or so. Quite amazing...group ..actually some fry . Other than that, happy to read what others are doing. The tank is a 46gal bow, T5 blubs, fluval 405, I've stocked it with 2 of each the following:Altolamprologus calvus - One ok one more timidNeolamprologus leleupi - One ok one more timid Julidochromis marlieri - One ok one more timid Neolamprologus brichardi - Tank Terriers (parents..omg..) Synodontis multipunctatus - Bottom Feeder Tang CatsBristlenose Pleco - Algae helpers I have access to an available 30gallon at work, I beleive the Brichardi's will become new home owners there The tank is stocked with limestone (help with ph) and a couple chunks of drift wood for additional hiding spots & the Pleco's. Also within are some plants (used from day one during the cycle) crips, java fern, microsorum, doing not too bad, some algae on a few leaves. I hope to learn more, plus help others if possible, cheers for nowB

Sorry I posted incorrectly (ipad..idon't know to navigate too well) I had a 200W Stealth, purchased it Dec of 2010, it was running ok, but all these posts got me nervous, I purchased a 150W Eheim as a replacement, I now don't worry about it. The stealth, well.. I'll wait for the recall or maybe see if PetSmart will give me some in store credit
