  1. Finally my lids arrived and there a little big... only ordered them in november from my lfs in wainwright. to the glass shop tomorrow and then finished pictures
  2. Gotta love the Okanogan. Lived in Vernon for 5 years.
  3. I got the fabric and velcro from wall mart and some iron on sewing stuff not one bit of stitching finished the stand for less then 30 bucks and that included the miss tint paint and brushes.
  4. thanks a lot. fish have been in all day and looking healthy. Is anyone else having troubles I loaded pictures through photobucket,com or is there a better way?
  5. All fish are in. couldnt wait any longer even though i probally shouldnt have but other tank has to get out of livingroom

  7. just found a camera in the junk drawer and surprisingly it takes better pictures then my iphone 4 heres some clear photos and here is my stock not sure on all the names got them at LFS in mixed tank and i think i missed a few for sure a huge buble bee and a couple others to hard to do when they move so fast lol 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12

  9. Ive got 1 albino bristlenose pleco 2 common pleco 2 aratus 2 acei 4 electric yellow 2 jewels 3 convicts 1 clown loach and 4 cichlids I dont remember there name will post pictures when they get into new tank
  10. finally got water in!!!! couldnt wait fo my lids to come in so 2x4 it is untill they arive. Never seen a fx-5 running before and have to say im inpressed with the output. Should do just fine on a 120. Everything went as plan except my heater is to long and i have to lay it on an angle not sure what else i can do about that. Maybe fish tomorrow or the next day. probally going to through a convict in tonight just because there expendable lol. does this seem like the right way to angle these just looking for other opinions? thats my heater im not sure the best way to make it look good though. Finally full of water If anyone has any sugestions id be happy to hear them. This is the biggest tank ive owned and its got me a little paronoid..... and ill try to take some pictures tonight and see if they look better
  11. I've put about 25 gallons in from my 55 gallon and a marineland dual bio wheel HOB filter off the 55G how long would you cycle it before moving fish over?

  13. Finally setting up my new tank big upgrade from my 55 gallon. Its a 120 gallon with a fluval fx-5 and a home made stand. Sorry about the picture quality my iPhone is taking blurry pictures and i cant seem to fix it. My old 55 gallon set up Stand built Stand painted Stand inside fx-5 fits where it is supposed to Thanks to huge help from neighbour tank is finally in!!!!!! at this point wife is getting grumpy lol Finished stand with black fabric and velcro turned out better then i thought it would Gravel and background on just hook up filter and heater and wait for the lids I ordered a month ago from lfs Thanks for looking more pictures to come when I fill it.
  14. wicked... hope i can figure how to put pictures up when its all set up only have an i phone just gotta take christmass tree down to make room for tank
