  2. Oh The present was an extra panada shrimp. I actually got this one a long long time ago from Pisces, and I forgot to post this pic. Interesting shrimp for sure/ too bad larvae need full saltwater... As far as that link goes. It was a very creepy looking shrimp, and it did look like a tarantula(front wise lol idk how else to describe it) b/c the eyes were so close together.

  3. Hello guys,

Here is a link with a list of fancy freshwater shrimp(some salt). Long story short: Pick Your favorite, if you want share why (top 1 or top 10 it no matter)! Feel free to add other shrimp outside of this list

    My personal Favs:

    1. Aristocrat Bicolor Bee , its color pattern

    2. Black and orange rili are my second place, i can't believe the color mutation

    3. cardina tigri, amazing little shrimp

  4. Hi, let me introduce the tank.

    It's a wide 39 gallon,

    Substrate: river sand (Exoterra)

    Some lava rocks

Tons a moss balls, some java moss,

    Huge piece of driftwood

    Runs on a fluval 406

    Coralife light

    ,

So I end up buying the moss balls of a seller on eBay (reason: less than $1:50 including shipping). So I rushed into to it and clean the moss balls super quick had them in quarantine for 4-5 days notice the colour on them was almost yellow~~brown(so pretty much dead, I think) and they had a foul small, so I was like had to put them in the tank, which I did. Then I bought some java moss off Pisces pet emporium, didn't really check for anything really...

Alright here is when I notice ramhorn snails/ planaria/ mematodes, "CRAP" in my head I told my self mematodes are hard to get rid off planaria as well and the snails even worse.

How I got rid of everything in less than 3 weeks:

    1. Otto x 1

    2. Hill stream loach x 1

    3. Tetra x1

    4. assassin snails x2

I don't know if this will work for you guys but it did for me,

Lesson learned check througly and quartile for long periods of time. I have more than 5 years keeping aquariums, is never to late to learn

    Thank you!

  5. That so true, that's the one, the cons Jayba mention 1 and the other one its bulky, has to be welded. Heavy & doesn't look very nice

Pros it could be corrosion resistant + super heavy duty material, can be bolted together if use the right kind. Once set up, not going to go anywhere, unless you disassemble it.

On the side, they also use this material to hang hot water tanks off the ceiling, in some offices. the hot water tanks that I saw was massive (I'm guessing no more than 100 gallon tanks) as well the strut was hung with metal anchors to the concrete ceiling

    Price at greaybar is:

    $2.00-$2.50 a foot

Ps: ill post a pic as soon as I get home

  6. Wow this topic's old! I have introuduced my self, but here.
