  1. I used to own a couple retail stores for the better part of 18 years, and talking to some store owners now, they say that they have heard within a few years, most of the medications will not be available for the fish/pet stores. I heard that as well when I owned the stores and that was 13 years ago. So who really knows, I guess we will have to just wait and see for ourselves. Im sure companies are developing or at least working on some kind of natural products for the fish hobbyist.
  2. I never have liked treating the entire aquarium, though I know sometimes you have to. A hospital tank , I think, is still the best way, therefore not effecting fish that really dont need treatment, plus you can experiment abit with treatment. Obviuosly quaranteen tanks are the way to go as well but Im sure most hobbyists dont use them.
  3. Are they expensive ....... again nothing Ive seen here in B.C. yet.
  4. Where did you pick up the platinums, blue marble, blue cobalts etc. out here in B.C. I havent seen any of them... no breeders either
  5. Looks great, I love the stand as well, tho Im not a saltwater guy, I can appreciate the time you put into it. The aquarium hobby, both fresh and marine is such a fantastic hobby.

  10. I am a new member and I have an aquarium maintenance business here in Kelowna for the last 30 years. I am always looking for breeders of different fish, (bushynose plecos, afr. cichlids) I have also started to breed the L144 ancistrus plecostomus and want to get more variety in the colors that are available, reds, calico, dark-eyed gold. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
