They are a little energy bar for fish, I would have no concern.

Been there but not impressed. Seems like same old but could have been on a bad day?!
I always advocate local people as much as possible however if a big box pet store is wanted with all the product selection then it seems alas, that Pisces is the only game in town.

I do plants so if you had any questions regarding planted tanks just hit me up.

Hello and welcome to AA. An easy upgrade for your lights would be to retrofit sunblaster t5ho in those guys...it is easy to do.

Possible to give a pic of your substrate? As with many other things people have different perceptions on ideas. One nice planted tank which is roughly 3 years old, I have not ((ever)) gravel vac'd. Another larger tank I would do it roughly 2 or 3 times a year. The idea of removing material from the substrate in some ways goes against a great planted tank as that removed material within the substrate provides free nutrients. If there is debris on the surface of the substrate that has collected then I would always suggest for that to be removed. If people do want to gravel vac on a planted tank I would suggest to only hold the vac above the substrate surface to collect only that suspended material and never to put the gravel vac down into the substrate. Again your removing that free nutrient as well as cutting up root with a huge knife.
Of course the above should be taken as being general...there are conditions that I would suggest to remove as much mulm/detritus as much as possible within the substrate however there are different reasons if that is suggested.
If you had questions I'm happy to offer help.

Hello and welcome to AA. I don't do much fish but I'm happy to shoot the breeze over planted tanks.

Is this an IP Board issue or an issue of their customers?

Very nice indeed, a great green thumb.

Tonnes of stuff on kijiji right now. If anything says 'broken' it will be over looked or people will want it for a song. The 95 as it needs to be redone, its a project tank and you will never get what you might think you want. Throw it up for $50 and see if people want it at that (you will get lower offers I'm sure of it). From the picture, the light is it the old t8 tech? If so then the light is just worth maybe $20-$30 again IMO as that tech is basically is now garbage for tanks. Condition is everything. If it's caked with calcium and looks like garbage for anything you sell, you'll get garbage offers.
The 75, is it with scratches on the glass? Is all the plastic trim beat up? Condition is everything. If it looks bad I doubt you'll get $1/gal. If it's perfect I'd think that is reasonable for being used.
If the filters are mint then perhaps start with 75 but be prepared for lower offers and possibly longer ad times. Don't think you'll get what you want and don't put everything for sale together as a full package.

Consensus seems that there is attitude with the builder, time delays but decent work.

I do have both cherry and a canister, however I would never place them in the canister on purpose. Every story that I've heard about people finding shrimp in filters talk about it going past the intake and accidentally being sucked in. I too have had shrimp in the filter system however I always remove them.

No idea, I doubt those because I needed a $10 box.

Ya I thought about getting garbage tanks and doing a rebuild but it would take a lot of hunting to find the sizes I'm looking for and cut them to what I want.
Also fish girl I've been looking for cast acrylic but can't find anything as thick as I need in Alberta.....

I've bought items from them in the past and happy with service, item and speed.

One way you can always grab a couple of old tanks rip them apart and build from that. At least can hone your cutting and silicone skills.
