Hello Brandon, fellow cichlids keeper here. I'm terrible at remembering fish names, do go mostly by colours. I'll post some photos and let you know. Just curious, what do you use for algae control? Do you have any live plants with them?

Algaes are terrible stuff to get rid of. Just curious, do they all require sunlight or sunlight equivalent spectrum lights to live? If a tank is not in range if natural light, and the bulbs don't mimic natural light, would that prevent algae from ever occurring?

Hello there. Your tank idea sounds great. It's neat looking when the little schools of fish interact with each other.

Not new to aquariums but new to the forum. Have had 50 gal African cichlid community tank for about 10 years. Love the fish but notice as they get bigger less and less fish can comfortable live in the tank, so it's losing a bit of the "community" feel to it. Interested in seeing what other hobbiests are up to. Located in Calgary. You have a great forum here and I'm glad I stumbled upon it!
