I have only seen them on my suppliers stock list the one time I did bring them in and not once have they been in stock since. I've emailed the supplier several times and the only answer I get is they never know what the fishermen will bring them in. They have asked but still no L368's. When they do become available I plan on ordering at least 2 boxes.

I'm just going to update the new arrival list. Sorry the L201's are all on hold.

There have been many people wondering where I have been and why I'm not replying to PM's so just wanted to let everyone know I'm back. I went to TO suddenly when my brother was diagnosed with cancer with the intent of staying a week but decided to stay to the end when he took a turn for the worse. It's business as usual and I'll be working on several orders now that the Air Canada embargos from S. America will be lifted Jan.13. I'll also post the delivery date for Edmonton in Jan. in the next few days.

I had 4 red tails about 4" when I got them and found they would not eat anything that was small size. No frozen shrimp no bloodworms no pellets smaller than 2 mm. I fed them live earthworms from Canadian Tire and cut up smelts until they got bigger and could eat whole smelts and shrimps. I also only fed them every 2nd day when they were that size and then only every 3 days as they got to 6 or 7". My remaining one I feed only every 4 days and he is now about 22" after 2 years. He now gets a large herring or blue shad or 8 or 9 big shrimp as a treat.They will only be active if they are getting hungry otherwise they just lay around the bottom if fed every day. He also never took pellets again after he got to about 6" and all my other big cats just love them.

I'll set them aside for you. I'll be calling my friend today to see when his next trip up will be. Looks like next Fri. or Sat. will be the next trip up but that will be confirmed by this Sun.

Steve: I brought in 125 of the wild guppies to see what they looked like and wouldn't you know it every last male in the bag was DOA. Jorg is going to raise up some fry ( females are forever giving birth) so we can see what the males actually look like but that will take a few months I'm guessing. These fish just came in a week ago and he already has about 30 fry.

Pat: I don't have any of the super red BN at the moment but do intend to try and get some from the U.S. My problem is that all the people who have these don't have much else to go with them and the shipping from the U.S. is a killer if you can't make it worth your while by adding other fish. The oil cats are all gone,

Ron I haven't seen any of these particular fish listed on any of the stock lists I get.

I just got back from a 2 week holiday so am a little bit late in getting back. The O.B. you asked about must have been bought when it was a fry - don't recall any of my larger ones being pink or having a bump on the head which I have never seen before on any of my O.B's. The O.B.'s are all line bred so it is practically impossible to track the lineage of these particular fish. Most line breeders keep that a closely held secret. I bought the male and female adults from a local breeder as the male was simply magnificent - bright red with lots of blue on the face and upper body. I ended up getting rid of them all when I too discovered just how aggressive the males could be.

Thanks for bringing the spelling error to my attention - won't happen in the future. I'll be getting some metriaclimas on the next African order - just don't know yet what the supplier will have available.

Columbian suppliers have relatively few apistos much like Brazil. I try to get the harder to find or unusual varieties so there won't be any on the Columbian order. Ok - well I am always looking - if you do get some in my email is mokkagurl@hotmail.com Thanks! Also do you have any synodontis multipunctatus left? I will email if I get apistos in and yes I do have multis left. I have to tell you the wild caughts have much brighter colors than any of the tank raised I've ever seen. I hope Jorg will be able to get some nice pictures this weekend and post so you see what I mean.
