Yes I am feeding ferts , but with not adding KNO3 and KH2PO4 , hints the lack of K , so I have started adding potassium sulphate , Just would like to test to see level.

Thanks Jason, I am not adding KNO3 OR KHPO4 at this time, my nitrates and phosphates are staying in range from the bio load and feeding , and yes I think I may be deficient and did add some Potassium sulphate and plants started pealing , Just would be nice to have a test kit to confirm levels as I rather not over feed as well. My anubias leafs are cupping (had holes , starts off as yellow spots ) and I also have what looks like Diatoms on my Anubias and sword plants , Plant growth is very slow.

I live on a acreage about 45 min. south/west of Red Deer , so well water it is , my water is very soft ( Low GH ) but is very alkaline ( high KH ), So i am using 1/2 well water with 1/2 R/O water and was using Seachem equilibrium to bring the GH up. In looking for a cheaper ( GH booster ) i am trying 1/2 dose with equilibrium and then gypsum powder / absent salt at a 3:1 ratio.

What is the cheapest product to use to increase you aquarium General Hardness ( GH booster //// Cal/Mag booster ) etc. Thanks

WELL it works just fine , the two 6700k 54W compact fluorescent put out much more light the the two 6000k 39W T5 HO , now i have a back up

Was i thought it was only the bulbs, which i already got on sale. ******Is the ballast fpr a 54W compact fluorescent the same ballast use for 54w T5 HO light ??? AquaticLife Replacement 54W T5 Ballast (part# 470072)

Just put in some zebra pleco ( L46 ) will see if i get some young ones .
