  1. Yes that is the store and they do have some with high iron content to give the clay/pottery a reddish color. If you go let us know how it worked out.

For sure I will update this thread.

Update: So I called the pottery supply and ask for a redart clay (high iron content). Lucky they still have a couple of small bags available, supposedly this raw clay is a fav among pottery makers and they run out quickly. I got a 5lbs clay redart (Cedar Heights) for 5$. Another good thing of getting raw clay is its powder form compare to clay bodies that are pre-mixed (with different chemical contents) ready for use.

So yeah drop in their store, the manager is pretty knowledgeable about their products.

  2. TNT aquatica (as far as I know) is or was run by Tuan and Torsten who opened Aquarium Central.

I don't know if TNT is still in business but no one I know who has tried to buy anything from them for the last few years has gotten any response so IMO, I would just forget about TNT and either buy from Aquarium Central or bring them in from out of town like a group of us did last year. I got 25 CPDs for about $3 each and I didn't lose any.

Mystery solved thanks, I will probably check Aquarium central soon. How do you know when group buys are going to be held, postings in sub-forums?

  3. Excited to say hello to all, I'm a total noob to all of this. I'm still grappling on all the information I need to know about this hobby. I have a 20 gal tank with a couple of variatus platys (variatus, obviously) and some artificial plants.
