I have one female guppy in a breeding trap. Yesterday, she gave birth to one dead baby. She still looks pregnant. Should I take her out of the trap or leave her in.

First, I have been away from the fish seen for awhile, whilst I am building a new house. I have set up my 110 gal at my office in the west end. The tank has two purple parrots and three plecos and a dojo loach. Its got two 48" coralife fixtures each sporting twin 65 watt bulbs. I am looking to create a planted tank. I would appreciate any advice on set up, co2 and where to get cheap healthy plants. The tank is not new and has been running for about 3 years and I have a couple anubis as well. thank you in advance. Doug

I realize that NLS make different food for different fish. I have some cichlids in with my other tetras and the like. Well, I have two purple parrots in my community tank with swords, rainbows, rams, tetras, loaches and angels. I usually feed this tanks mysis shrimp, brine shiimp or Tetramin. I was thinking of trying my cichlid NLS in this tank. Is there any reason why not? Should I use something else? Larry

My convicts that put eggs on a rock wall a few days ago have taken them all and scattered them around the floor of the cave. They are still protective of them. Do you think this is normal or are these eggs just not going to hatch? Larry

I always leave the light on after i feed the fish. My thinking is that they will not see the food if I turn the light off. Here it comes..... Can fish eat in the dark? Larry

That might not be a bad Idea. The 66 gal tank has tons of large rock in it; lots of caves. I think that the 4" green terror would probably find it easier to catch them that i would with all the rock in there. Anyone else ever move unhatched eggs? Larry

I think you should stave the RBP's and add this other snake by the name of Cam Ward and let the Rbp's do their job. Larry

I have a very small bn pleco that i got from jason. I am not sure of the lighting but i think there is lots. The tank is in a rack with two 4 foot bulbs in it. There are some sort of snails in there but i am not sure what kind they are. Larry
