I fought with him over a piece of shrimp on a stick yesterday and assume he ate it.
-
He has eaten already so looks like he is a keeper

Tony, No cats allowed in my house!

Hilarious animals.

20 or 30 gallons of water ended up in my basement this morning. I created a virtual waterfall on my ray tank.

Money is here. Still good people in this hobby!

LMAO. -roll- One other thing I just noticed is that the lid has been taken off partially. He is still in there. I honeslty don't even lock the lid anymore as he knows he can get out. he just doesn't. I will get a pick of the poop he puts the urchin through. Poor guy has trouble finding friends he doesn't want to eat.

I thought I would update on how Otto is doing. I just got back from Florida and he was out and about still kicking and still thriving. He seems no sign of slowing down. The tank looked a bit like a mussel graveyard as I threw in 7 for him while I was away (live). All torn apart. He must have gotten bored though as the Spiny urchin has lego and bioballs stuck to him. I wonder how long i will get to have this guy? It has been 5 or so months

I have just been reassured I am not getting screwed over. Thank god..

Obvisously I am a bad judge of Character. I think I just got burned... I will get my money back

I think all is well. I will know in a few days but again the guy seems trustworthy

The guy seems trustworthy and is a sponsor over at MFK but I am definately concerned. Appears to be a mix up by the bank but my updates are getting less frequent

This could turn out bad....I have no money as of yet. Luckily I have many friends in the buyers town to collect if things go bad

I forgot to mention that I had a FX5 that I started up without opening the suction valve so it blew the water out. Ran like this for 4 days as I was away and when I came home it was still going hot as hell but still working. There was a bit of water stuck in there however for the most part remained dry. It has been close to 1 month and still going. I just thought I would mention this as not many filters would last through this.

So I thought my ciliata was dead. He was laying on his side under a big rock so I picked him up, took him out of the tank and put him into my 54 Peacock tank for food. (I know, but I did anyway) Strangely enough it has been a few day and guess who has located himself in my tank? He was not dead, just decided to molt under a rock instead of his burrow. Now I got to find a way to get him out of there before my peacock finds him

$43....Great price!

Definately! I didn't let on but it was killing me. Putting the air hose on the tail was worse though!

She made it healthy and happy! Then there were 4

She is on an airplane tonight. Lots of choices for homes but the ray breeder in New York is a great guy and very patient.

http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u198/rudykane/ Here are some new pics of him in a 56 gallon (his new home). There is also a shot of the tank. I would tell you where his cave it however in all honesty he does not really have one. he is always out. I wonder about his as he is a deep water mantis whether they are more inclined to hang out side their den. His death toll is 3 damsels, 2 hairy crabs and a ton of snails. The damsel stalks are amazing

Please sell me this.,......

Very cool! if you don't mind me asking... where did you find this critter? was this purchased on the 'Black Market'? nev Ocean City actually! http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u198/rudykane/

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is confirmed as a Odontodactylus japonicus. Not described and only found in Museums. Roy Caldwell has never seen a living specimen

I talked to Roy and due to the decate nature of the animal and the border crap he is going to stay at my house. I am going to attempt to help he study it from far for Roy....heehee
