Basically they've created a bunch of little weirdos! I'm really interested to see what they are going to look like! Certainly a hybrid of a sorts. They are great parents though. Really solid team work! They are housing the fry pretty much right out in the open in the middle of the tank. The dedication these creatures have is astounding!

So our blood parrot (female) and convict (male) have reproduced. Their fry is living in a cave they dug. I'd like to keep some of them alive if I can. How long before I must move them out. There are a lot of other fish in the tank that I'm sure can't wait to snack on the fresh hatched!
