I recently got some long fin blue rams and from anything i read, they were supposed to be peaceful. I have a few that are far from peaceful. I'm trying to develop a pair but i'm wondering if two can actually live in my tank peacefully. Anyone have more experience with these fish? Maniac

I wouldn't mind a killi section as well, it would help me know more about these fish

I have a 5 gallon tank with no filtration would that work, unfortunately that's all i got. crap

Sorry, it's a 20g tank, with an aquaclear filter. He's a long fin blue ram with two other long fin blue rams in the tank as well as 8 cherry barbs and 1 bristlenose pleco. Help, I have a fish that is sorta doing a rocking motion as it swims, His fins aslo seem very squished together. What can I do?

I was in at pisces this morning and they had a 26 gallon bow front for sale, can't remember the price though sorry.

I came home from work today and sure enough one of my long fin blue rams died :cuss: i don't know what happened, I checked the water last night everything was good for levels but tonight he/she died :cry: i think the aggression level may have been to high but not sure. any ideas?

currently, it contains 8 cherry barbs, 4 long fin blue rams (only until a couple develops and then i'm going to get rid of two), and one bristlenose pleco. Its a fun tank, i look forward to getting off work each day so i can look at my fish lol

If you have plants in your tank, do you have to do water changes as often as if you didn't? again i'm full of beginner questions maniac

Why is it that I have noticed with plecos that some of them have an L- and a number when referring to them? Is it that way with other fish? What does it mean? Sorry its been on my curiousity for a while now. :eh: Maniac

I noticed a couple of ads in the buy/sell forum that deal with drilled tanks. What are they? Are there any benefits to them? sorry, just a novice question..

should i do the water change with them in the tank? so in other words transfer them to another tank, do a water change and then pull them out after? Maniac

why the WC? should i add r/o water?

Okay i've read up on trying to actually get these things to breed and putting them in a separate tank with holes so that the eggs can't be eaten up by the parents and that is all good. But the question in my mind is other then the brighter colour on the males how do i know when to put them in a separate tank? I also have eight barbs; three males and five females, should i put them all in or should i only put in a couple? Maniac
