One of the world's top betta fighters and trainers, too.
-
Larger corys and talking cats are just fine with leaf fish.
-
I concur....keeping the two together is risky at best.
-
No, should I?
-
Good stuff. I bred BNs a few years ago using a shallow terracotta plate as well...I got the idea after someone I knew had produced a number of batches with his BNs spawning under a piece of slate.
-
Thats OK, a few that I have in active service, likely predate all three of us. They look like this:
-
I try to get all the moyos down at the shop on it as well...gives for a much more varied and complete diet.
-
The CAE tends to stick to the sides and bottom, with the occasional quick dart...the leaf-fish will tend to notice and target more actively, free-swimming fishes...like guppies.
-
Their colour can change drastically, based, apparently, on mood. Mine would go very dark as soon as prey was introduced to the tank, but lighten-up considerably after feeding.
-
Possibly, although the swimming patterns of the CAE may not attract the leaf-fish's attention.
-
Some of the more original polo lights....circa 1988-1990.
-
Feeders certainly, but Polycentropsis are freshwater.
-
Thanks, that was amusing.

I would love to carry the larger size, but the 125g is a slower seller than most of the other formulas, and I would not like to sit on a bunch of 250g containers more than a few short weeks. Perhaps if a few people would like them, I could bring in an order if I felt that at least ½ was already sold.
-
Sorry, no....I do not carry them at Riverfront, and if Gold Aquariums does not, I think you are out of luck (since I am certain Petland does not). On the other hand, we do have the 125g containers on for 20% off until month's end for CAS and Riverfront club members.

Fortunately most of my tanks are downstairs, so most are pretty good...some of the upstairs ones are pushing 86ºF, though. Had a customer in today whose reef tank hit 94ºF yesterday.
-
That is terrible...sorry to hear it.
-
I doubt you....I need to see your belief with my own eyes. :P Are you sure that was an actual spruce beetle and not you, believing you were a spruce beetle? :eh:
-
So you doubt John's existence?
-
Really? What issue? I will have to read that, as I have known John for years now...worked together on a couple of projects, actually.
-
Ditto with mine, although they only ever ate the occasional pellet.
-
Very nice...John Acorn would be proud (he has a thing for native beetles).
-
That leaf fish can eat some surprisingly large prey....I would suspect that he made your other fish disappear.
