  1. Hi—first real post and I’m posting on behalf of a good friend who is also into fish but not a member here. She sent a few pics yesterday of her pristella and rummy-nose tetras with black spots. Looking further it seems this is a parasitic disease, not usually lethal but visually a negative in your tank/fish. I’ve been in the hobby for many years but hadn’t heard of black spot disease. My questions—what’s your experience with this, has it gone on to affect your whole tank, and have you been able to successfully treat it? If you did treat, with what, and where did you purchase the meds. Many thanks!!
