Bottom feeders in a cichlid tank

I am looking for opinions on what type of a bottom feeder (besides a pleco) would have a hope in hell of surviving in my cichlid tank. Keeping in mind also there are two green terrors in there.

It is a 72 gallon tank with a large (unsure what measurement-probably around 12"?? 10?) pleco, 2 green terrors, 2 male convicts (I figure they are male or the tank would be full of convicts, lol) and several other miscellaneous african cichlids (unsure of species). Eventually I will be getting a larger tank (almost all the fish in their are juvenile except the pleco).

Can you post pictures of your ideas? Also are there any other types of fish safe to put in a cichlid tank? (Kind of a long shot but I figure if anyone would know you all would ;)
