davekingca
Hi all, as I am very new to this, I still dont' know where to get resonably priced plants... I'm looking for hardy lush plants to fill a 20g tank. Is 12$ plant a nromal price (petland) Thanks! Dave
Toirtis
Depending on where you are, there are lots of places with good plant selection and prices from $2-$15 each, depending on what you want. If you are in Calgary, try Riverfront (our plants are ½ price on Saturday the 12th), Pisces, and Elite. In Edmonton, try Nature's Corner and Big Al's. The Aquarium socirty auction (like the ACE auction in Edmonton tomorrow) are excellent places to pick up quite a lot of plants at great deals. werner
Some of us just give away cuttings when we finally get around to pruning our overgrown tank (hopefully this week) :smokey:
Stacey
I agree with the above comments........... either watch the plant give away section, or check out the local auction. No matter what plant sales you find in stores, cheap or free is always better! I got a fairly large bag of red crypts at the last CAS meeting for $12! (would've been much more at ANY store!
