Guest FLIP
Can a 6" gold gourami go with a leaf fish?
fishytime
Dont think I've ever seen that combo before. Not sure what would happen. They both can be a little on the agressive side. I am of the opinion that Gouramis should'nt be listed as community fish by lfs. Have seen and read many stories of gouramis being vicious little buggers. Guest FLIP
Smaller gouamis are peaceful but the larger ones can be more agressive but theres also Lace, gold and pearl gouramis thatt can get quite large but they're very peaceful fish. I'm just asking if the gold gourami will be ok because it's much larger than a leaf fish.
Guest FLIP
I also forgot to add I'm also asking because the leaf fish attacked my cobalt gourami when they were in the same tank.
Vallisneria
IF your leaf fish attacked your cobalt gouramis there is a good chance it will also attack your gold one.

Toirtis
I concur....keeping the two together is risky at best.

Slough Shark
If you had done your research about the fish before you bought it, you wouldn't have run into this problem.
