I'm keeping it for now I'm going to get a brackish tank in a month or so when I get a job. It seems ok with all the fish except the biggest one it's taken a liking to my gold gourami's fin. Are those 2 types of puffers you have a non-nippy puffer and are they expensive?

Isn't that one fish a barb not a serpae?

How many puffers do you have? It just sounded like you have more than one when you said "It seems ok with all the fish except the biggest one it's taken a liking to my gold gourami's fin."

Those puffers I have are nippers and aggressive as well. The SA puffer not so much. They can actually be kept together in FW as schooling fish. I have read articles that state they school in the wild. You can put one SA puff for 10-15 gallon of water. The other one is aggressive! SA puffs are about 20 each at Riverfront and the irrubesco will be more expensive IF you can find them as they are rare in Canada.

That one is a serpae tetra!
